Today was the day 🙌 boat finally hit the water ( then immediately smacked a rock backing from the dock due to the low water this year 🤦♂️)
Shake down trip to make sure everything is 💯%. All systems a go 😎
Went to my marks, third line just set when first fish hit the deck 🫶 an hour and a half later seven fish had graced the boat by eagerly attacking the baits swimming by them.
These lake trout are so fiesty and aggressive in the cold water. It's been a long winter waiting for big water fishing to start, but it's finally here 🙌
